My name is Alessandra, I am 29 years old and I have recently finished my degree in translation studies at Dublin City University in Ireland. I currently live in Nizza Monferrato, in the province of Asti, a little town immersed in the greenness of the Piedmontese hills.

I have always had a big passion: travelling and finding out about our world! So I have decided to study English, French, German and Spanish privately. I have been travelling since I was 16 and I have visited many countries, mainly in Europe and in America. I have seen enchanting places; I have come into contact with different but delightful cultures, traditions and ways of living …….. In spite of all this, in my opinion, the most wonderful place in the world is where I live!

People living in the Monferrato love simple and genuine things; they are proud of having a refined food-and-wine culture, which is appreciated in Italy and abroad.

In the last few years I have noted that many foreigners have chosen the Monferrato for the opening of “Bed and Breakfast” and farms holidays. Others have made of it their second home.
